Syleste Alexander is a New York native, former violinist, and a proponent of the arts. A graduate of the Macaulay Honors College at the College of Staten Island, she received her B.S. in Marketing, with minors in Art History and Management. She brings a myriad of experience in arts, culture, and institutional advancement, including the Museum of Modern Art, the Whitney Museum of American Art, the City University of New York, and most recently, the Metropolitan Museum of Art.

In her free time, she enjoys gardening, learning new languages, such as American Sign Language, sculpting, and traveling. She is currently in graduate school, working toward her Master of Science in Business Management, Strategic Management degree.
