Linda Ortiz is a transformative leader with a strong background in the arts and a passion for positive change and empowering women. Demonstrated her exceptional ability to mobilize resources and secure vital support for various organizations and initiatives. She graduated with a degree in theater and film, which has given her a deep understanding of the creative industry and valuable connections within it. Linda has actively contributed to the arts community by supporting in the development, fundraising, and Gala efforts of the Entertainment Community Fund, formerly the Actors Fund, and a New York theater group, Vaso de Leche. With her extensive experience and connections in the arts, Linda brings a unique perspective to her role as the leader of Strategic Sponsorship/Partnership for Women of Color in Fundraising and Philanthropy (WOC) while having previously supported a multi-million dollar national campaign for the Office of Mission Advancement, The Paulist Fathers. In addition, she served as a board member and co-chair of the Communication Committee of Women in Development, NY (WID) and as the chair of the HACE (The Hispanic Alliance Career Enhancement) New York Auxiliary Board. Linda's commitment to empowering women extends beyond the arts, as previously a licensed WomanSpeak Circle Leader facilitator, empowering women to find their voices and make a meaningful impact. Linda holds a Bachelor of Arts from Hunter College, furthering her education at NYU towards a Certificate in Fundraising. With her strong arts background, extensive experience, and dedication to empowering women, Linda is a dynamic leader driving positive change in multiple domains. She has been an exemplary YFJ Consultant for five years.
