Jessica Powell Eig brings a unique blend of strategic fundraising expertise and artistic insight to her role at the American Composers Orchestra (ACO). A seasoned grant writer and development professional, Jessica has spent over two decades helping artists and arts organizations articulate their vision, define impact, and secure the support needed to bring ambitious projects to life. Her work supports ACO’s mission to champion the creation, performance, and promotion of new American orchestral music, focusing on programs that advance equity, innovation, and composer development. With a background as a double bassist, Jessica brings a deep understanding of the arts ecosystem to every project. She currently performs and records with ensembles such as the Washington Bach Consort and The Thirteen, and teaches at American University, George Mason University, and Levine Music. She holds a DMA from Stony Brook University and degrees from Eastman and CCM.
