The American Composers Orchestra (ACO) has premiered works by 800 American composers, including over 350 world premieres and commissioned works. Recordings of many of these works are available on platforms like ARGO, CRI, ECM, and Nonesuch.
Starting in 2022, ACO committed to capturing its NYC-based performances and readings in HD video/audio. By funding multi-platform media rights for public programs, ACO makes high-quality work samples available to composers and those positioned to program their music.
